- Sessions range from 1 to 2 hours and occur at various frequencies. Decisions about length and frequency of sessions and duration of care are guided by my professional judgment, your wisdom about your needs, financial and time constraints.
- Fees: Sliding fee scales are available on a case by case basis. If you are unable to pay for services, I offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program. Contact me directly for more information.
- Please note; I am not able to bill insurance for a late cancelled or non cancelled appointment, I require 24 hour notice to cancel appointments, and you may be charged in full for a late-cancelled or no-show appointment.
- If you wish to use insurance, I provide a billing service to handle your billing; your co-pay/co-insurance is required at time of service, Your full payment or patient responsibility set by your insurance plan (copay or coinsurance) is due at the time of service, and you will be invoiced for any remaining balances once claims have been processed.
- Outside-of-session services (telephone conversations with you or with other professionals on your behalf, report writing, records or treatment summary prep; attendance at meetings or consultations regarding your care) in excess of 15 minutes once per month are charged at my prorated hourly fee. I do not typically get involved in court cases, custody disputes, or mediation. If I am called by a judge or an attorney to testify in a case in which you are involved, payment from you is due prior to any services rendered.
- When I am unavailable, my telephone is answered by a confidential voicemail that I monitor frequently. I make every effort to return calls within 24 hours, except for weekends and some holidays. If you are in crisis and need a call back immediately, please leave me a message stating as such and then also call 911 or a helpline at 211 or go to the nearest emergency department.
- Fees; All services are paid for at the time of delivery or in advance, unless prior arrangements have been made.
